About This Quiz

Food is a tricky thing, isn't it? Most of us enjoy eating, and of course, we need to eat to live, but there is a whole lot of food out there. Think about how someone from 500 years ago would react if they could walk into a modern grocery store and see the endless selection of bizarre and unusual things we all take for granted every day. Way back when, you had meat and bread and some basic fruits and vegetables. The supply line to other countries was tenuous and slow, so getting exotic foods was sparse and expensive. And 500 years ago, no one could have dreamed up a can of Pringles or some Go-gurt.

As food fanatics in the modern age, many of us have the luxury of being spoiled for choice. We can get fresh produce year-round, even in the winter. We can have ready-to-eat meals and produce from the other side of the planet. We have every taste and every flavor you could imagine. But the downside of that is that sometimes it's all too much. Sometimes you don't want to risk eating a food you're not used to. Sometimes your palate isn't ready. So let's see how picky an eater you truly are. Dig in and take the quiz!
